PRIZES AND AWARDS FOR MARQUETTE CHALLENGE

The 2023-2024 VCU-Marquette Challenge has special prizes and awards planned for the top fundraisers. View the details below and get on “the list” of schools supporting this initiative.

  • $500 reimbursement for student travel to APTA’s Leadership Congress 2024 in Kansas City.
  • $1,000 reimbursement for student travel to attend CSM 2025 in Houston.
  • Full registration for two students to attend CSM 2025 in Houston.
  • Framed Award.
  • First place school receives naming rights and opportunity to Co-Host the 2024-2025 Challenge
  • Leadership opportunity for students to promote the Challenge at the Foundation’s CSM 2025 booth in Houston.
  • Leadership opportunity to engage with other students at Foundation special events during CSM 2025 in Houston.
  • Faculty invitations to Foundation special events during CSM 2025.
  • Recognition of award on social media.
  • Opportunity to submit a 1-minute video or photos

  • $400 reimbursement for student travel to APTA’s Leadership Congress 2024 in Kansas City. Student(s) attending will be identified by the Program Director or their designee. The Foundation asks that students selected be engaged in the Challenge. Students are responsible for registering (no charge) and informing the Foundation of attendance. Reimbursement requests must include receipts and be received within 30 days after the meeting.
  • $500 reimbursement for student travel to attend CSM 2025 in Houston. The Foundation asks that students selected be engaged in the Challenge. Reimbursement requests must include receipts and be received within 30 days after the meeting.
  • Full registration for one student to attend CSM 2025 in Houston. Program Director or their designee will identify the student’s receiving registration by November 1, 2024. The Foundation asks that students selected be engaged in the Challenge.

  • Invitations for students and faculty to attend the Foundation’s special events during CSM 2025 in Houston.
  • Recognition of award on social media.
  • Opportunity to submit up to 30 second video or photos (guidelines will be provided) to be shared on social media.
  • Customized swag for 4 student coordinators in recognition of their participation.
  • Profile of program Challenge efforts to include student fundraisers featured on the Foundation website and included as an e-news article.
