A Challenge Like No Other: Students Give Forward for #GivingTuesday

Like many nonprofits, the challenges of COVID-19 have had an impact on the Foundation for Physical Therapy Research (FPTR) and our ability to fund physical therapy research. Students like you all over the U.S. have already been hosting virtual events and fundraisers to help close the shortfall in our operating budget, but we’re not there yet. We really need your help, and we can’t do it without you!

3 Actions You Can Take This #GivingTuesday

Give us the boost we need. Continuing to fund physical therapy research is so important to the strength of our profession and the quality of patient care we can provide.

  1. Already held an event? Send in your donations using the Challenge donation form. Every gift will count towards your schools Challenge totals for 2020-2021. Donations received by the end of December 2020 will help FPTR plan for funding to be awarded in 2021.
  2. Invite your friends and family to make a $5 or $10 gift in honor of your school. Remind them to select your school on the Challenge donation page so that these gifts will count toward your school totals.
  3. Start planning your spring events! Although classes may have wrapped up for the semester, you can still connect with your fellow students to get the ball rolling on your fundraising events for Spring 2021. Visit marquettechallenge.com for ideas.

Thank you, students! Our mission is made possible because students like you give forward to the profession.
